The orginal "Arkansas" whetstone is a fine grain, dense whetstone, which is used with oil. It is used for various forms of wood chiseling and carving due to its hardeness. The abrasion of these type of stone is very low. Size deviations of +/- 10% can happen with all whetstones. You can work on all main carving tools with form A, B and C. Form E is for round blades.
